What if Kat had been a naughty man-eater?

It’s been six months since the last time we showed you a piece of Luciana-themed fan art, so it’s about time for a new post dedicated to the fantastic works of a talented fan artist.

Well, I don’t know about you, but I always wondered how Bradley Thompson and David Weddle described Louanne “Kat” Katraine in their script for “Act of Contrition”. Was Kat supposed to have an “attitude”, and was she supposed to be played by a Latina-looking actress?

I asked Bradley about it a couple years ago, but he just said that casting was handled by the people up in Vancouver. So perhaps we’ll never know. That’s one of the reasons why I’m so happy about an impressive series of “Lost Character Designs” containing mock descriptions and really cool drawings of the four Battlestar characters whose actors attended this year’s FedCon – Aaron, Kandyse, Luciana and Tahmoh.

All of them were created by Batch, a German fan artist, and here’s the one about Kat:

Awesome, isn’t it? According to Batch, Luciana totally loved it:
