Indie thriller Urgency – shot more than two years ago — is starting to make the rounds. It has been available for rental in Australian video stores since November, and just a few days ago, it aired on an Asian pay TV channel.
Still, there’s bad news for all of us who are looking forward to actually buying the movie: Contrary to previous announcements, the DVD is not on sale in Australia (Region 4), yet. In fact, distributor Peacock Films let us know that they “can’t sell this title for many months yet, and then only within Australia.”
Add this to the fact that we haven’t heard anything about airdates or DVD releases in either America or Europe, and it’s obvious that we’ll have to be very, very patient…
