I didn’t think I’d live to see this day, but it appears Luciana’s Everwood episodes (which were also the show’s final four episodes) will be released on DVD after all.
As you may know, the First Season DVDs were released almost five years ago, back in September 2004. Warner Home Video never produced any other Everwood DVD sets, however, blaming “prohibitive music costs”.
Well, apparently the music costs weren’t that prohibitive: Warner finally released Season Two on DVD last month, and only some of the songs were replaced by cheaper music. In other words, nothing’s going to stop them from putting Luciana’s episodes on DVD eventually!
And given that people won’t be buying DVDs anymore ten years from now, there’s a good chance we won’t have to wait another five years for the remaining two sets. That is, I expect to watch the wonderful Stephanie Meyer in DVD quality as soon as this year or early 2010.
